Saturday Spring Fever Special

Looking for something to do this weekend? Gather the family, drive to Boone, and climb aboard one of our Saturday Spring Fever Specials. These diesel-powered trains operate on May 4th, 11th, and 18th, 2024, with a 1:30 pm departure time. On your 1 hour and 45 minute journey through the valley, you will cross the 156′ tall Bass Point Creek High Bridge, as well as the Des Moines River Bridge. Your ticket includes admission to the 9,000 square foot James H. Andrew Railroad Museum. Visit our gift shop to purchase snacks and beverages before your trip, or to buy a souvenir before you head home.
The depot, museum, and gift shop will be open from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
