Linda Betsinger McCann, Iowa author and presenter, will present (Via ZOOM) The Cedar Valley Railroad for the James H. Andrew Railroad Museum on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
The Waterloo, Cedar Falls, & Northern Railway operated for more than 50 years and impacted many lives during its existence. Even now, people can recall the conductor on ‘their’ car, or talk about riding the ‘trolley’ to college. Farmers rode the northern Iowa rail to town to sell their produce and factories in Waterloo shipped by the Cedar Valley Road. Author Linda Mccann will explore this history with visuals in ZOOM of one of the largest interurbans in Iowa and its ramifications on the State.
