Our full schedule ends on Sunday, October 31, but there are still opportunities for you to take a train ride with us. Tickets still remain for our Fraser Trains on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There are still seats available on our final Pumpkin Express train on Saturday morning. From the Iowa DNR: Fall colors were extended thanks to the mid-October warm spell and started to peak late last week. The oaks are finally turning beautiful reds and purples in the woods. Hard maples are a range of colors from yellow to orange to red. Hickory and cottonwood are still bright yellow; walnut and ash have already lost their leaves. In town, red maples are gorgeous. The colors should hang on for a little while longer, but will depend on temperatures and wind.
