2007 Preservation Projects

  • Coach 9101 got a new rubber roof, new black paint, revamped electrical, and a thorough cleaning inside and out.
  • Rock Island coach 2584 got a new rubber roof, a new RI decal, revamped electrical, converted to AB brakes, and a thorough cleaning inside and out.
  • Coach 3238 got a new rubber roof, sandblasted and a new coat of green paint, new decals, revamped electrical, converted to AB brakes, and a thorough cleaning inside and out.
  • Coach 3213 got a new rubber roof, new decals, a clearcoated exterior, new black paint, and a thorough cleaning inside and out.
  • Rock Island caboose 17051 got a new roof, new decals, repainted exterior, and a thorough cleaning inside and out.
  • The Fairmont sickle mower was resurrected from the storage building to help control vegetation control along the line.
