Do you belong to a Scout Troop interested in earning their Railroading Merit Badge in 2025?
The Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad in Boone, Iowa will be offering two Merit Badge Classes:
- Saturday, July 12
- Saturday, August 2
By earning this badge, Scouts can learn about the history of railroading, its place in modern society, and careers in railroading. Topics will also include Amtrak, the special types of railroad cars that carry America’s commerce, and railroad safety, including working around railroad tracks and safety lessons when you are at a railroad grade crossing.
Scouts and leaders have the option of purchasing a special Railroading Merit Badge.
